NOTICE:
Regarding downed tree limbs. Please remember, as is the
normal course of after storm activity, the PV Highway Dept. is picking up
and chipping limbs that fell in the town right of way, and they are going as
fast as they can. However, they cannot pick up and chip limbs that fell on
residents' private property. It will take forever to clear the roadsides of
tree limbs if people start taking their yard tree debris and leaving it on
the side of the road. If the Highway Dept. sees tree limbs in front of homes
where there are no visible trees from where they could have fallen, they
will not be picked up. Private yard debris will need to be taken care of by
the individual homeowners. Please spread the word to your facebook friends
and email contacts.

This historic community, nestled
in the Hudson Highlands, is less than an hour from midtown
Manhattan by car, but centuries away from New York's hectic
lifestyle. Putnam Valley, with a
population of approximately
11,000 people, includes several lovely lakeside communities,
and the
renowned
Clarence Fahnestock State Park which has many miles of hiking and
riding trails. |
