Christmas Day – Observed Monday, December 25
Monday pick up will be on Tuesday, December 26
Tuesday pick up will be on Wednesday, December 27

GARBAGE COLLECTION RULES AND REGULATIONS

CONTAINERS

Standard size garbage containers only – NOT EXCEEDING 36 gallons
All garbage must be bagged in standard garbage bags and in a covered container
Working handles and fitting covers are required
No bungee cords allowed
If your container becomes damaged it must be replaced within 7 days or it will not be returned to you
CANS MUST NOT EXCEED 50 POUNDS IN WEIGHT
GARBAGE IN OVERSIZED CONTAINERS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP
All garbage must be curbside by 7:00 am

RECYCLING SCHEDULE

Routes 1 & 2 – Co-mingled recyclables numbered 1-7 – Newspapers and mixed paper will be picked up on THURSDAY

RECYCLING REGULATIONS

Plastic, Metal and Glass will be collected together in clearly marked recycling containers
Newspapers, flattened cardboard, magazines and junk mail need to be bundled
Recycling in plastic bags will NOT be picked up
All recycling must be curbside by 7am

BAGGED LEAF PICK UP

Bagged leaves will be picked up between:

May 1 – May 31
October 15 – December 31 (weather permitting)

Leaves left out at any other time during the year will not be picked up
Leaves in plastic bags will not be picked up
Leaves must be in BIODEGRADABLE PAPER BAGS

2023 BULK PICK UP FOR HOUSEHOLD ITEMS ONLY

SPRING

Route 1: April 15, 2024
Route 2: April 22, 2024

FALL

Route 1: September 9, 2024
Route 2: September 16, 2024

ONE PICK UP PER HOUSEHOLD

NO auto parts
NO construction debris
NO leaves or brush
NO tires or batteries
NO computer monitors or TVs

Mattresses must be in plastic bags

Bulk pick up is limited to 3 yards per household
