Our annual Memorial Day Ceremonies at John Layman Park drew many dignitaries this year, including Sheriff Don Smith, who read a very moving letter from a woman who had lost her son in battle. The services continued at Lake Peekskill, VFW Post 391, and concluded with the Round of Honor at several cemeteries in the local area.
