SACRED HARP SINGING with the ERIKSEN TRIO

The trio includes ballads, Appalachian music, instrumentals and vocals.Their music expands on old traditions and moves them into  a contemporary statement.
The Tim Eriksen Trio will lead a singing session with students at the Putnam Valley High School during the day and then perform in the evening at TCCC.

With actress Barbara Bates Smith and musician Jeff Sebens commemorating the campaign finance reform and voter registration advocacy of 90 year old Doris “Granny D” Haddock.
The show is based on Granny D’s memoirs. The donations will benefit TCCC and The Beacon Sloop Club, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection of the Hudson River. They operate the sloop Woody Guthrie, providing free sails on the Hudson for the public. www.beaconsloopclub.org

You’re never too young or too old to use the power of your mind to shape your life exactly how you’d like it to be.
